A Shinkyokushin karate seminar dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in Aktash city, Samarkand region, with more than 60 participants of different ages.
Organized by Branch Chief Khasan Nazarov and Sensei Otabek Abdurakhimov, the seminar aimed to promote the development of Shinkyokushin karate in the region, especially among young people, children, and girls.
Participants practiced kihon, ido, kata, kumite, and practical street-defense techniques, while also preparing for the Cup of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Asian Championship in Indonesia this November.
Branch Chief Khasan Nazarov, who has supported karate in Uzbekistan for more than 40 years, plans to invite world champion instructors from Japan in 2027 to further strengthen Shinkyokushin karate across the country.
