Last Saturday 11th of May, the French national Seminar 2013 was held in Chateauneuf-en-Thymerais in the North of France. This event was attended by over 70 Shin advances members.
To promote Shinkyokushin Karate in France, the two Branch Chiefs Pascal Rouxel and Jean-Philippe Bazerque were agreed to ask Shihan Jésus Talan from Spain lead the Seminar.
The first training started Saturday morning at 10:00 am outside for 2 hours, taking advantage of the natural environment. The second part, during the afternoon, continued for 3 hours of various exercises of strength and endurance involving also the technical side,
Then, after a break, we concluded with a Grading for brown and black belt until Nidan.
Sunday, the second day, we started at 09:00 am until 02:00 pm for a special Kumite training which was focused on different physical exercises, fighting techniques and sparring, to strengthen the competitors for the European championship in June.
Two days of very intense activity. Everybody was boosted and enjoyed the very hard training
This seminar focused more on combat training of high level and Jésus Talan Shihan has impressed all participants, not only by his energy and high technical level, but also by his kindness and accessibility.
