On May 27 and 28, 2023, in the Sports and Entertainment Hall “PODPROMIE” in Rzeszów, the 12th edition of the International CARPATHIA KARATE CUP Tournament took place. The tournament was organized by the Rzeszów Combat Sports Club SYSTEM led by sensei Janusz Wiśniewski (under Branch Chief Tomasz Basiak).
The duties of the main referee were performed by Shihan Remigiusz Karpiński.
The tournament was attended by competitors from Denmark, Georgia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, Ukraine, Hungary, and Poland.
On the first day, 250 competitors took part in the KATA competition, and on the second
day, 650 competitors took part in the KUMITE competition.
