On December 2, Brazilian Championship was held successfully.
Mr. Rafael Cardoso won the male category, and received five thousand reais, equivalent to two thousand five hundred dollars in cash, Ms. Djefini Carvalho was absolute female champion in the category, and won three thousand reais, equivalent to one thousand, and five hundred dollars, and the other categories won 200 reais, equivalent to one hundred dollars.
This was one of the first steps in the valuation of karate athletes
