On 10 and 11 November, the 4th La Paz City Flower Show, organized by the Japanese Association in Uruguay, the Embassy of Japan, the Municipality of Canelones, and the Jica (Japan International Cooperation Agency) was held.
During the first day was held the presentation ceremony with words of different authorities involved. The second day there were many different cultural samples concerningto Japan, one of those was a Kyokushin Karate demonstration performed bymembers of Shinkyokushinkai Uruguay. Led by Eduardo Garcia Shihan, the exhibition had kihon, self defense, tameshiwari, ido geiko, Kata, combat techniques, kumite, etc.
Shinkyokushinkai Uruguay continues its strong growth with a serious work in the area of cultural exchange with the country of origin of our martial art.
