On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the international Uruguay Dream Cup took place in Rivera city.
The event primarily featured competitions for children, youth, seniors, and kata. It included the participation of over 200 athletes and was attended by a large audience who followed each category. Alongside members from WKO Uruguay branch, the participants from WKO Paraguay branch and other organizations such as KWF and Kyokushinkan were present.
The Organizing Committee, consisting of Sensei Elinton Flores, Edison de Los Santos, Sergio Rieta, Ezequiel Rodríguez, and María Eugenia Ubal, managed the event. General coordination of referees was conducted by the Director of Judges of Uruguay, Shihan Gerardo Recuero, and Shihan Eduardo García served as the Chief Judge.
