In coordination with the Tunisian National Karate Federation, the Directorate of Physical Education and Sports in Zaghouan Governorate, and the local authorities of Ennadhour, the 5th National Shinkyokushinkai Karate Championship was successfully held at the Ennadhour Sports Hall in Zaghouan Governorate on March 14, 2026.
The championship included children’s and youth categories, distributed across 11 weight classes. A total of 260 athletes from Zaghouan Governorate and the areas of Nadhour, Ain El-Batoum, Mrigebe, Bir Ennadhour, and Zaghouan City participated in this national event.
The championship aimed to develop the talents of local athletes, promote the exchange of technical expertise among karate practitioners, strengthen sporting relations between governorates and clubs, and provide athletes with an opportunity to demonstrate their physical and technical abilities.
The championship was overseen by Sensei Jihed Salah, the National Technical Director, on behalf of the branch Chief, Sensei Faouzi Bellaaj. He was assisted by Coach Sensei Mehdi Ghabaach, President of the Zaghouan Eagles Kyokushinkai and Martial Arts Association, which organized the championship in partnership with the Elite Sports and Recreation Association of Nadhour and the Shin Kyokushin Sports Association of Tunisia.
Officials from the Tunisian Federation, including the president and members of the National Karate Federation, as well as several coaches, athletes, and sports officials, also attended the championship.
At the conclusion of the event, the winning athletes and supporting coaches were honored with certificates of appreciation and medals. Sincere thanks were extended to all coaches, athletes, and distinguished guests, encouraging them to continue their efforts and further develop the organization.
Special thanks were also extended to the local authorities for their cooperation and for ensuring the smooth running and success of the championship.
