During August 25-27, members of the WKO Tomasz Basiak Branch (TBST) had an outstanding opportunity to meet and train with one of the best instructor in Japan, Shihan Tadashi Ishihara.
There were six trainings, including outdoor and indoor practice. During the camp, Shihan Ishihara taught kihon, ido geiko, and kumite aspects. He focused on the connection between those aspects of Karate and how to use it in a competition. Karatekas were taught how to practice balance and how important it is in Karate.
This summer camp was attended by more than 70 people, members of WKO, including Branch Chiefs from Poland and Ukraine, as well as members from other organizations. We also had participants from Lithuania and Ukraine.
