Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Full Contact Karate Championship Concludes Successfully in Swat, Pakistan
On 24 July 2026, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Full Contact Karate Championship was successfully held in Mingora, Swat. Athletes and leaders from various Kyokushin Karate organizations participated with great enthusiasm and expressed their commitment to unity, solidarity, and cooperation with the Full Contact Karate community. Their participation strengthened the spirit of friendship and mutual respect among all organizations involved.
The championship was held under the auspices of Sensei Sahibzada Al Hadi, WKO Pakistan Branch Chief, in collaboration with the Regional Sports Office Malakand, Swat, and Crown Micro Global.
The championship attracted many male and female athletes from different regions of Pakistan, who displayed exceptional skill, discipline, and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
The officiating panel consisted of Sensei Khurshid Shabab, Sensei Hayat Nazir, Shams Arifeen, Basir Shabab, Faizan Manzor, and Anas Alam. The Supreme Jury included Shihan Sahibzada Al Hadi from Peshawar, Shihan Khalil-ur-Rehman from Karachi, Shihan Muhammad Azam from Wah Cantt, and Shihan Intikhab Alam from Islamabad.
Regional Sports Officer Dr. Hazratullah Khattak attended the opening ceremony as the guest of honor, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohibullah Khan Yousafzai attended the closing ceremony as the guest of honor.
At the closing ceremony, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mohibullah Khan Yousafzai distributed trophies, medals, and certificates to the winning athletes. He commended Sensei Sahibzada Al Hadi for his outstanding contribution to promoting martial arts and expanding healthy sporting opportunities for young people.
The championship concluded in a spirit of unity, friendship, and sportsmanship, further strengthening the promotion of Full Contact Karate across Pakistan.
