The WKO Shinkyokushinkai New Zealand Kata and Kumite tournament took place on Saturday 26 March 2022 in New Zealand’s historic Art Deco capital, Napier.
Over 80 competitors competed across Kata and Kumite divisions. A strong contingent of Shinkyokushin players were joined by representatives of other New Zealand Kyokushin organisations. Owing to the peak of the New Zealand Omicron wave that weekend, entries were limited in this event, however all competitors participated with true spirit.
