The WKO Myanmar Kata Championship 2026 was successfully held on January 4, 2026, at Myanmar ICT Park, Yangon. This event marked the first official championship organized by WKO Myanmar, with 67 competitors participating across 8 categories and 27 prizes awarded.
This inaugural event was conducted under the leadership of WKO Myanmar Representative, Sensei Htein Lin Aung, with the support of instructors, officials, and dedicated Karateka.
WKO Myanmar believes that this championship has made a positive contribution to the development of Kyokushin Karate in the country and will serve as a strong foundation for future official events.
