Honduras Branch held its first ever national Shodan Examination according to its yearly operational plan.
The event was commanded by WKO Branch Chief Nestor Cubas Alvarado with the assistance of Sensei Greissy Molina Lara. The examination was held at the dojo Sei Do Kan, one of the WKO affiliated dojos in Tegucigalpa. One member, Ronnal Hernandez took the Shodan challenge and with passion and Budo Spirit overcame the physically demanding test and earned the prestigious black belt in the world´s strongest Budo Karate. Also, higher Kyu grades were evaluated, Ms. Egla Gattorno earned 1Kyu and Ms. Samantha Flores 2Kyu.

Also, on previous day, beginners and intermediate Kyu exam was held with the following members successfully acceding to their new grades:

5th Kyu: Marco Maradiaga.
6th Kyu: Lia Molina, Javier Molina.
9th Kyu: Oscar Flores, Cristian Cabrera, Mauricio Varela.
10th Kyu: Emma Salinas, Erick Funez, Adrian Guerra Sr., Adrian Guerra Jr.

WKO Honduras is progressing in both quality and quantity of members, and preparations for all upcoming international events are on the way.
