Sixty-five athletes, teachers, and trainers from areas of Magnesia, Volos, Agria, Tsagarada, Mouresi participated in a strong 2-day training session in the morning and afternoon in the hardest contact style, in specially designed areas and on the beach of Agria.
The 2-day seminar program included training in basic techniques (Kihon) and techniques on a supposed opponent (Kata) in the morning hours, Ido Geiko, and in the afternoon, in competitive techniques and freestyle (Kumite).
The summer seminar was taught by Shihan George Kosmidis (Country Representative, WKO Branch Chief-President of the Greek Shinkyokushinkai), Sensei Kosmidou Evdoxia (WKO Branch Chief), as well as Sensei Giannis and Iraklis Pozapalidis, who participated with their Dojos of Volos, Agria, and Tsagarada-Mouresi.
The Honbu (Headquarters) of Greek Shinkyokushinkai, led by Shihan George Kosmidis and Sensei Vicky Kosmidou, made a significant contribution.
Black belt Dan Grading Exams were held during the camp, as had been established in all camps according to European and Japanese standards.
At the end of the exams, participation certificates were awarded to all participants, while Japanese certificates with gold-embroidered black belts were also given to the instructors and teachers who took the exams at the last Winter Camp (in Chania, Pelion).
The entire organization and supervision of the Summer Camp was undertaken by Sensei Evdoxia Kosmidou, under the guidance of Shihan George Kosmidis.
