Date: October 20, 2018
Place: Wales, Great Britain
Organizer: Great Britain Branch Chief Alwyn Heath

On October 20, the Great Britain Branch held a technical seminar in Wales. Shihan Howard Collins (8th Dan) was the special instructor, and the event was organized by Branch Chief Alwyn Heath. 53 members from 9 organizations (including WKO) participated, and we are grateful to Shihan Howard Collins for an informative and enlightening seminar.
Shihan’s energy and enthusiasm will surely have inspired those who participated. It was a long day, comprising analysis and application of technique both in basics and kata, giving us much to think about and work on. We are privileged to have had this opportunity, and it was a great day enjoyed by all, to promote WKO in Great Britain.
This is the 3rd event this year that the Great Britain Branch has organized, including the beach training and waterfall training. It is hoped that next year, more events, including a competition will be organized to promote our WKO branch.
