Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa came to Grodzisk Mazowiecki Town , invited as a special guest by Mr. Tomasz Basiak, to teach at a seminar held from January 5-7.

The seminar consisted of one special training for black belts (30 members) and four trainings for all participants (76 members). It was a special time for all of us, including the 6 Polish Branch Chiefs. The trainings were long and very diverse. We touched all aspects of karate. We traveled through Kihon to very advanced Kata, Ido Geiko, and Kumite. Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa showed great professionalism in teaching. All trainings were held in a very good atmosphere among friends. We were impressed by Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa. She is versatile, modest, with a sense of humor. The essence of karate in our opinion. Training with her was a pleasure and honor for us.

Kumiko Sunakawa Sensei found time for the youngest students of Primary School No. 5 in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. It was a very interesting and unforgettable meeting for children who started practicing karate three months ago. Ms. Kumiko Sunakawa met with the Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Mr. Grzegorz Benedykciński and Vice Mayor Mr. Tomasz Krupiński.
At the end of the visit of Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa in Poland, we had a short tour of Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

The organizers would like to thank Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa for the time devoted to teaching karate and her great heart. We hope to welcome Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa to Poland again in the very near future. Osu !

The organizers would also like to thank Mr. Leon Mori, who supported us with the Japanese translation. It was a huge help. Thank You Leon ! Osu!
