Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa and Sensei Emi Shoguchi were special instructors for the kihon, ido geiko and kumite seminar organized by WKO Branch Chief Tomasz Basiak in Grodzisk Mazowiecki near Warsaw in Poland on January 24-25.

120 children and 96 adult participants from Poland and Ukraine took part in Seminar. Also Branch Chief Oleksandr Kuzmin from Ukraine, and Polish Branch Chief Mariusz Godos took part in the event. On the 24th there was a special karate training for black and brown belts from the Basiak Branch. During the seminar the guests demonstrated their concept of kihon, ido geiko training and fighting. Shihan Kumiko Sunakawa and Sensei Emi Shoguchi drew attention to many details in karate techniques and kumite. Everyone trained very hard in a good atmosphere. We also celebrated two important anniversaries during the seminar; 20 years of our organization in Poland that started with Branch Chief Jacek Baranowski and Tomasz Basiak and 30 years of karate training by Tomasz Basiak. Shihan Kumiko, Sensei Emi, Tomasz Basiak, Oleksandr Kuzmin and many participants took part in a Shinkyokushin Karate demonstration during a charity collection for a sick person in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. It was a great honor to host such great and experienced instructors. OSU!
